Title: Twilight

Author: Stephenie Meyer

Year: 2005

This book is narrated by a sappy, love-sick teenager who falls for a vampire; clearly, we're not going for Pulitzer Prize winning writing here, but rather a plot-driven, easy read for the backyard or the beach (I enjoyed it).

  4. Wow, nice list! Which was your fave of all these? I'll read it :)
P.S. I read The Pilot's Wife a few years ago because I was in an Oprah's Book Club phrase. I haven't read anything else by Shreve, though.

  5. Special Topics in Calamity Physics is really good. Brimstone is great if you like mysteries. The Lace Reader was also really good! I have a hard time picking favorites when it comes to books!

  6. Awesome, I'll check those out! I know, I'm the same way with picking favorites, haha. I can never pick just one (same with music, movies, etc).
